The Ship Tavern

Just happened to be passing through Anstruther on the weekend and found a few locals enjoying a bit of live music in the Ship. Turns out the entertainment was being provided by none other than local troubadour King Creosote, with full band in tow, having a bit of a warm-up ready for a busy summer festival season. Lucky to stumble across that really, so I thought I’d get a few snaps in…

Charity Baw

17 07 2010

Featuring King Creosote, Gummi Bako, Ballboy, FOUND, Over The Wall and Panda Su

Roxy Art House, Edinburgh

I was thinking it didn’t seem a year since the last annual Roxy Charity Baw, and of course it isn’t. It’s about eight months. Anyway, horological semantics such as that didn’t prevent us having a ball, indeed a baw, at the hands of King Creosote, Gummi Bako, Ballboy, FOUND, Over The Wall and Panda Su.

Good News Album Launch

Featuring King Creosote, Jo Foster and Eagleowl

Withered Hand decided to bother the locals down at Leith Dockers’ Club to celebrate the release of their 17-starred, chart-topping (nearly) debut album, Good News (Buy it here. Now. It’s brilliant.) They were helped out on the night by a few good mates, including Jo Foster, Eagleowl and King Creosote. You don’t need me to tell you it was a fantastic night.

The Fence Collective

King Creosote, The Pictish Trail, Found, Player Piano

GRV, Edinburgh

We were treated to a triumphant post-Homegame hoe-down from a selection of Fence Collective luminaries at the GRV. Individually, the line-up was announced as Player Piano, Found, The Pictish Trail and King Creosote. However, they all spent so much time on stage with each other, as Fence traditions dictate, that it hardly seemed to matter! Great stuff.
